equipment donated
Placencia Rotary Club has decided to provide badly
needed medical equipment for the Placencia Clinic. A
member of the Placencia Rotary Club has donated $ 20
000.00 to help with this and the winner of the
Placencia Lobsterfest donated his winnings for this
project. Quotes are being obtained to buy the
equipment which will include EKG machine, an
aspirator and a new examination table. The Ministry
of Health has promised a new autoclave to sterilize
instruments.
Thanks to Mr Ruben Hinojosa who donated a cardiac
monitor defibrillator which is a vital piece of
equipment in case of cardiac arrest. |
